I am a 2000 Graduate of Blue Cliff Massage Therapy School of Metairie,
LA. I have practiced Massage Therapy and have held a Louisiana State
License in Massage Therapy as well as a National Certification for 22
plus years. I have been a member of the American Massage Therapy
Association for over 23 years.

I have joined the Back to Normal Physical Rehabilitation team to offer
my services of massage therapy in half hour sessions as a maintenance
to your therapy needs. I will be offering targeted work of trigger point,
and deep tissue therapy to address specific areas to aid clients with
lasting results.

In my view, therapeutic massage means helping clients improve
movement with increased range of motion with a decrease in pain. I
look forward to helping you get Back to Normal.

Courtney Ricker

Yoga Instructor

I am a proud mother of twin daughters and have been married
for 21 years. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Family and
Consumer Sciences with a concertation in Family and Child
Social Services from Nicholls State University. I have worked in
the social service profession for over 20 years. Within the 20
plus years, I have assisted families and agencies in obtaining
resources and services for individuals with developmental
disabilities.
I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and decided I wanted
to share the magic with others. In 2021, I decided to pursue a
new journey in life and I became a Bhakti Certified Yoga
Instructor in December 2021. Currently, I teach a variety of
yoga classes at Back to Normal Physical Rehabilitation
throughout the week. In addition, I teach weekly yoga classes
to a group of individuals that have developmental disabilities at
Lafourche ARC. I truly believe that teaching yoga is a way of
helping others and enriching lives.
